VIEW RATING

Welcome to the view rating section. Start with the search for a company of your interest. The search is location specific – by this we mean you look for a company in a particular country/city. Take for example Microsoft. There is no rating result for Microsoft ‘global’ per se. There could however be results for Microsoft offices in different countries and in some countries, different divisions of Microsoft.

Why do we say there could be results? The rating rely on employees to post their inputs. If there are no posting then there will be no results to view for that particular entity. The result if available is presented in 2 parts with a total of 5 sub sections as follows:

Part 1a : The Employment Experience Satisfaction Profile (EESP) with 28 factors grouped under 4 dimensions
Part 1b : 3 Factors choice questions
Part 2a : 3 Satisfaction questions
Part 2b : Overall Satisfaction
Part 2C : Employees’ comments
Please note the following when viewing :

Real time

Once employees have posted a rating, they can make changes to their posting as many times as they see relevant. Each time you look at the results of a company, the data is real time and it is based on the collective postings of all the employees’ at that point in time.

Statistic

As with all things statistics, reliability of data increases as you have more inputs. By an input, we mean an employee who has posted part 1a to 2c of the rating and no matter how many times the same user make changes to his/her posting, it will be counted as one input in order to maintain data integrity.

Participation

Wanted to follow up on a topic of your interest or initiate a discussion with employees from the company? You can use the online discussion tools and it also allows you to engage in private discussion with another user.

Filtering

You will come across lots of information and may see conflicting opinions. Exercise your judgment on which part of the information to attach more weight to.
